In the kitchen, special menus have been devised to tempt even the most jaded of palates.

On Christmas Eve, the Villa’s usual mixture of guests from all over the world will be able to enjoy a traditional Czech dinner of lentil soup and baked carp or pork schnitzel, rounded off with fruit and ice cream.

Christmas Day itself will see an “English” menu of tomato soup, roast turkey or pork with traditional stuffing, roast potatoes and parsnips, Brussels sprouts and peas, all topped off with Christmas pudding and cream.  And Boxing Day offers even more variety with an “international” menu featuring borscht, an extensive buffet with vegetables, and bananas flamed in cognac.

Also during the holiday season, Villa Mansland will be presenting a brand new cabaret show featuring international producer Russhow’s acclaimed – and very hot! – troupe of boy performers.  The evening performance – on 31 December – will include a very special – and sexy - surprise as the midnight chimes ring in the New Year 2010.

“There will be plenty of other things going on, too”, says Villa Mansland’s owner Harry Niessner as he prepares for his expected guests.
“We see the Villa not just as a hotel but as a resort, offering our guests a full range of activities to make their stay with us as enjoyable as possible.”

Of course, it goes without saying that many of Prague’s most attractive young men will be visiting the Villa during the Christmas holiday too, ready and willing to act as hosts to visitors who need a guide to the city of Prague or simply some friendly company during their stay.
“Christmas at the Villa is always a memorable occasion”, adds Harry.
“And when my staff and I see how much pleasure our guests get out of it, all the hard work of preparation seems more than worthwhile.”
